I’ve been trying to decide if I should update my Sony PSP from firmware rev 1.52 up to 2.0 so that I can use the web browser, and then downgrade so that I could still run homebrew. Unfortunately, I don’t want to turn it into a glossy black brick. One of the better places I’ve found about this stuff is at pspupdates.qj.net. I’ve read this how-to: psp 2.00 to 1.50 downgrade about 10 times now, and I’m still skittish.
